Screw fastened bases

Adhesive and screw fastened bases are used for mounting and securing cable ties on surfaces. In this category, we offer adhesive and screw fastened bases as well as screw flaps. Screw flaps are a great way to mount cable ties using a screw.

With an adhesive fastened base, cable ties can be easily mounted on walls and flat surfaces. You can then use the cable tie as you normally would; it is simply secured on the adhesive fastened base. The base is comprised of a double-sided adhesive surface as well as gaps for inserting the tie. Alternatively, the base can be secured using a countersunk screw or a dowel. 

Similar to adhesive fastened bases, screw fastened bases consist of a base that can be mounted onto a surface as well as two slits to insert the cable tie. They can be installed using a screw or a dowel. Screw fastened bases have a number of benefits: because they are screwed onto a surface, they are overall the safest way to secure cable ties onto objects or walls. However, adhesive and screw fastened bases are used in the same areas. They are both made of polyamide 6.6. Polyamide provides great abrasion resistance as well as wear resistance.

You should use screw fastened bases whenever you need to rely on a secure installation on rather unsuitable surfaces. They are also a safer option for mounting cable ties onto movable objects. You should also make sure that you are using a base in the correct size. Both options are available in different sizes – for cable ties that have a width of 4,8 mm or 7,8 mm.
